Killing the Fruit of the Womb (Part 1 of 2)

“And kill not your children for fear of poverty – We provide for them and for you. Surely the killing of them is a great wrong” (Holy Qur’an 17:31).

In his book, A Torchlight for America, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan clearly states our position when it comes to abortion. He writes, “Some of us are pro-life and others are pro-choice. I am both. I’m pro-choice in that women should have the right to choose to whom they will commit their lives. So, don’t regret bearing life from that one to whom you have made a commitment. I’m not for any woman or man having the luxury of pleasure without responsibility. There is a procreational aspect to sex, and it’s the neglect of this aspect that gains us disapproval in the sight of God. No one should be free to kill the fruit of the womb not understanding that what you are producing could be the answer to your own prayers and those of your forebears.”

In addition, the Minister writes, “However, I am not in favor of letting the product of rape or incest come to term. Abortion is justified in these cases, along with those instances where the mother’s health is at risk.”

Unfortunately, in the United States of America, the legalization and promotion of abortions for any reason have led to an exceptionally high number of abortions every year. According to recent data from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): “In 2014, 652,639 legal induced abortions were reported to CDC from 49 reporting areas. The abortion rate for 2014 was 12.1 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44 years, and the abortion ratio was 186 abortions per 1,000 live births.” It is important to highlight that these are only the number of ‘legal’ abortions ‘reported’ in just one year from only 49 areas in the entire country. Therefore, we can reasonably presume that as staggering as this number (652,639) is – we know that the actual number of abortions is likely so much higher. Well over half a million lives are not coming to term every single year in the United States…this is a serious problem. But even more horrific is that Black women have the highest abortion rate and ratio according to the CDC.

The womb of every woman is sacred. But Black women, in particular, are direct descendants from God and therefore what we produce from our womb is genetically coded with the essence of the Originator of the heavens and the earth. To kill the fruit of our womb is to kill a potential god and the answer to someone’s prayer.

The intent of this section is not to make any woman feel guilty over past mistakes, but to serve as a reminder to some and a warning to others that Allah (God) in not pleased with us for committing an act of murder because we fear the consequences of an unplanned pregnancy or simply do not want the responsibility of parenthood. Anytime man’s law conflicts with the higher law of God, we must follow God if we want to be in line to receive His blessings and His favors.

We know that the killing of our children is not a new practice because Allah (God) had to correct this abhorrent behavior in both the Bible and Holy Qur’an. The difference is that centuries ago, children were primarily killed after they were born due to their gender (mostly females) or because of fear of poverty. This certainly could not be openly practiced in America today because it goes against both man’s law and God’s law. But the enemy of God and the righteous, has wickedly devised a plan to continue to kill babies by arrogantly determining when “life” begins based on man’s definition; thereby justifying the annual mass murder of hundreds of thousands of babies. This would be called genocide if it were not “lawfully” permitted by the Supreme Court.

It is no coincidence that the rate and ratio of abortions are highest among Black women when we trace the origin of the promotion of “birth control,” which eventually graduated to abortions, back to Margaret Sanger. She was an advocate for the population control of Black and poor people, whom she felt were genetically inferior. In 1939, Sanger sought to enlist the help of Black ministers and doctors in a letter to a member of the Birth Control Federation of America, where she wrote (in particular) about Black ministers, “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

Extermination of the Black population was the plan then and remains the plan today. The prevalence of abortions is just one way to achieve this end. Unfortunately, the freedoms afforded in this country extend beyond all morality. We are free in this country to do practically anything that opposes God’s Will and the U.S. government will sanction our rebellion.

We were all created with the nature of righteousness, except the rebellious devil. So, our appeal is to the Righteous. We must consider the hand of God in ALL circumstances. Nothing happens without His permissive or active will. A pregnancy may have been unintended or unplanned by the mother or father, but Allah (God) is the Best of all planners. His universe is ample to support every new life. When He declares that He will provide for them and for you, we can take that to the bank! This does not mean, we should sit on our hands – but after we pray, we must go to work and draw from the mammary gland of His universe. It is Allah (God) who declares that the killing of our children is a great wrong; so, if we are striving to be righteous, then there is simply no rationale for aborting a new life – outside of the aforementioned exceptions.
